Conveyancing

In January 2017 we became an approved member of the Law Society's Conveyancing Quality Scheme which is the recognised quality mark for legal experts in buying and selling property, trusted by UK lenders, estate agents and other law firms. Carla Upton is the fee earner working within the conveyancing department. Carla has worked for over 20 years in conveyancing departments at other firms within the local area and is highly experienced. The team has over 50 years combined legal knowledge and expertise in dealing with buying and selling properties and therefore have great empathy and understanding to the stress and pressure some people face when buying / selling their home.

Timescales

A typical sale or purchase of a residential property will usually be 12-16 weeks. Each matter can be different and whilst we deal promptly with all matters, progressing them in a timely manner some matters will complete earlier and some more complex matters longer. From the outset our initial client care letter sets out the stages of each matter
